Haroldo also serves as a member of the Global Agenda Council on Sustainable Investment & Finance for the World Economic Forum.
Haroldo Jacobovicz is the founder of “Investimentos Eco”, one of Brazil’s leading impact investment companies that focuses on renewable energy and environmental services. Eco was also the first company to develop an integrated project in Brazilian agriculture focused on sustainable production of chickens (Granja Tres Arrobas). Currently, Haroldo serves as Executive Chairman of Granja Tres Arrobas, which is publicly traded on BM&F Bovespa.
Haroldo’s investments in the energy sector were recently recognized when he won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for his work at GEO Energia Renovaveis SA in Rio de Janeiro. At this time, GEO is the largest independent energy generation company in Brazil with an installed capacity of 895MW.
Haroldo’s professional experience includes positions as Chief Investment Officer at Banco Itaú, President at Terra Networks Latin America and Executive Vice President of Univision Interactive Media Inc. Haroldo Jacobovicz holds a B.A. in Economics from University of California Los Angeles and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University.

Haroldo is also Chairman of JBZ Advogados Associados, one of the largest law firms in Brazil that focuses on Corporate Law; Strategic Alliances; Capital Markets; Private Equity; Mergers & Acquisitions; Venture Capital Firms & Investments. He sits on the Board of Directors and is a member of the Executive & Management Committee at Gas Natural Fenosa Latam, an integrated energy company with over $30 billion in assets.
Haroldo Jacobovicz also serves as a guest lecturer at Getulio Vargas Foundation’s MBA program and on the advisory board for Harvard University’s joint venture with SEADE – a research organization in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
